Job Description:

Here at Broadcom Software, we are investing in our team to accelerate the adoption of VCF based cloud solutions delivered by our cloud partners including Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and Hyperscale Providers (AWS, Microsoft, Oracle and Google)

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for leading the growth  of Broadcom VCF Partners for the EMEA region. We’re looking for someone to drive the adoption of Broadcom Software solutions, built on VCF in conjunction with the Hyperscaler & CSP offerings, to end-user customers. This enables Broadcom VCF Partners to engage with the market for the Broadcom Software-based services and solutions, supported by an extended team of resources from within VCF team.

In addition to the ‘sell-to’ sales motions, you’ll drive dedicated ‘sell with and through’ initiatives to accelerate and grow mutual business in conjunction with the core account teams. You’ll partner with the CSP and Hyperscaler global team on marketing and demand generation planning, sales and technical enablement, and end-user pipeline and development.

A key aspect of the role with be developing relationships with CSP and Hyperscalers’ EMEA business development and technical leadership to identify, renew, and close new business with joint customers. 

You will also be responsible for managing a team of 10+ business developers assigned to CSPs and Hyperscaler, and driving their pursuit and impact with their sellers, partners, and end-user customers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Overall, partner relationship management including Exec/Regional Alignment

  • Drive commercial and business buy-in for new and advanced services based on VCF and add-on capabilities

  • Single point of contact between, Partner sales and BSG Sales to identify, validate and execute new and renewal deals

  • Lead and drive account interlocks and regional alignment for join accounts

  • Drive BYOS joint wins with Core Sales secure adoption of cores

  • Create, validate and progress quotes through Broadcom systems

Requirements:

  • 10 years’ experience selling software into Service Providers, SI/SO and/or Major Partners

  • Strong record selling software, technology products & services to and through Service Providers

  • Exceptional managerial record of managing and driving a sales teams

  • The ability to recognize, analyse and take action on go to market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships

  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing and key elements of virtualized infrastructure, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS & Private Cloud models

  • Expertise in spotting and executing the right solutions and value selling

  • Strong eye for business and negotiation abilities

  • Great teamwork, with strong social, communication and collaboration skills

  • Well-organized and effective in the development and execution of business development planning
