We are looking for an experienced and proactive Admin Manager to lead and streamline our administrative functions, ensuring efficient support across departments. In this key role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage office resources, and lead a team to create a smooth, productive work environment that supports our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes by leading and developing Admin team
  • Recruit and train support personnel and allocate responsibilities for office and site management
  • Assess support staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
  • Manage schedules and deadlines
  • Monitor inventory of office and operational site supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
  • Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation and performance management – ensure transparent procurement and tax optimization where applicable
  • Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons (e.g electricians), government entities pertinent to office and site operations
  • Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.)
  • Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
  • Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
  • Support leadership team with adhoc tasks and ensure Business Continuity and HSSE standards are rigorously adhered to
  • Project manage new sites and ensure delivery in line with initial cost and time projections
  • Responsible company related travel and fleet management in terms of service delivery and cost optimization
  • Ensure Admin team engagement and development
  • Ensure complete departmental compliance with COMMIT rules of
    Maersk

Skills and Competencies required:

  • Minimum education:  Master’s Degree from Reputable University (Business/Engineering)
  • 12+ years of core administrative and HSSE relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using data to drive business results
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to work as a change agent and challenge the status quo
  • Proactivity: Suggest solutions and process improvements
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Demonstrate highest standard of ethics and integrity in line with Maersk Values
