AI Transformation Lead

The Rank Group is growing rapidly within both our Venues and Digital businesses. We employ circa 8,000 people globally, with our UK office functions being located in Maidenhead (Head Office), Sheffield (Customer Solutions Hub), London (Digital) and a further office in Gibraltar, which is home to our existing Rank Digital function.

Rank recognise that Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are fundamental to the success and future growth of our business. We are looking for a true visionary that can deliver the AI strategy that supports the business by improving efficiency in addition to being a champion for the customer by enhancing their experience with Rank and its brands, both online and in venue.

As an AI Specialist, you will be responsible for: conducting feasibility studies and impact assessments for AI projects, providing actionable recommendations for automation initiatives, recommending the best approaches and AI tools, to surpass business growth needs and customer requirements.

This is not a technical role, requires minimal if any coding,  rather a consultant that is able to bring the business on the AI journey, utilising Rank’s Data, Analytics, Data Science and Technology teams and/ or third-party suppliers.

Innovation Leadership

• Foster a culture of innovation by promoting creative thinking and experimentation.
• Lead the exploration of cutting-edge AI technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the curve.

Partnership Development

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with industry leaders, research institutions, startups, and other organisations to drive AI innovation.
• Leverage partnerships to access resources, expertise, and technologies that complement our AI initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including corporate strategy, engineering, product management, propositions and marketing to develop and launch new AI-driven offerings.
• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with AI strategy and objectives.

• Exceptional and demonstrable experience in delivering AI solutions to meet business needs.
• Commercially sound and a strategic thinker. 
• Background in Innovation around technology and strategy building
• Ability to identify a business opportunity and articulate an appropriate business case for its delivery.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and gregarious personality to build strong relationships.
• Out of the box thinking while operating within governance boundaries.
• Strong financial awareness and ability to forecast and delivering to budget.
• An outstanding knowledge of existing and proposed AI/ Automation technology and technology vendors.
