Our global teams took on the challenge to make a difference in the way the global financial markets operate. Would you seek the same challenge?

At LSEG, we help our customers achieve success by providing access to an open platform that uncovers opportunity and catalyzes change.

Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior, cross-regional business development professional to join the growing APAC Data & Feeds team and cover some of the most important business engagements LSEG has with its clients: The ‘requalification’ of existing subscriptions - working with clients and internal stakeholders to identify ways to right-size existing subscriptions.

The Data & Feeds business includes the vast majority of LSEG’s ‘off-platform’ data feeds, infrastructure & services. For example, real time pricing data, digital wealth solutions, pricing and reference services, quantitative analytics, etc.

The largest clients usually have a range of these services with contracts spanning various products, time periods and geographies. Through thorough review of such commercial structures, the person will be responsible for negotiating and navigating the process of arriving at an optimized commercial structure that benefits all parties.

The role requires very strong collaboration and coordination skills, given the numerous stakeholders and size of contracts, but is highly rewarding, given its positive impact on both our revenue and our relationships.

Role Responsibilities

  • Remediate the current contracts with our largest Data & Feeds clients.

  • Creatively structure, negotiate and complete the remediation.

  • Execute the project timelines and objectives in a timely manner.

  • Develop the APAC-wide strategy for requalification.

  • Join and lead customer meetings, especially at negotiation stage.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Deep understanding of the financial sector, especially with regards to data subscription.

  • Experience negotiating significant contracts with large organizations is vital.

  • Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)

  • Business-level English is a must.

  • An additional Asian language is a bonus.

  • Very strong collaboration skills, especially with regards to project management.

  • Experience executing re-contracting.

  • 5-10 years of industry, sales, or market experience

  • Proven track record in a sales environment.
