Key Accountabilities:
Sales Engineering and Application Matters
Provides the design, drawing and documents for the customer’s technical requirements.
Calculates, verifies, selects the right equipment/suppliers.
Provides the technical specifications and defines the scope of supply for the equipment.
Provides and maintains the product and sales engineering information.
Uses the computerized engineering tools/database, technical library information and factory standards for the engineering work.
Prepares and carries out technical presentations and training.
Familiarize oneself with the applicable international and in country technical standards.
Sales Support Matters
Work closely with sales to define the technical scope of supply.
Reviews/clarify customer’s specifications & tender documents.
Provides technical solutions and scope of supply.
Coordinates with factory and local suppliers for scope of supply.
Provides total product and project cost calculation.
Provides technical specs, scope of supply and work with suppliers/contractors to obtain proposals and quote for the equipment timely.
Order Execution
Raises the necessary purchase requisitions for the scope of supply.
Manages the order with internal departments, suppliers and contractors till all contractual requirements are fulfilled.
Verify on the clarification of the order, sales engineering, and drawings/documents.
Knowledge in SAP tool
Qualifications and Skills:
University / college studies in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
Experience in the diesel/gas engine/generator industry, min. 7 years.
Hands on experience on engineering, site supervision and commissioning of diesel genset with knowledge of electrical power systems and genset control system
Knowledge of engineering calculation for and related to genset and electrical systems.
Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&ID and system layouts.
Knowledge and Project execution in the packaging and testing of genset.
Knowledge in Autocad would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of switchgear and electrical power protection would be an added advantage.
Adaptable to different cultures and business practice
Excellent team player with an open mindset, collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
Proactive and positive attitude.
Proficient in English language. Fluent in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel.
