Responsibilities:
Functional: Architect for Shop floor Development / Software Development Lifecycle
- Define solution architectures with a high degree of complexity in BSH “Digital Factory” landscape with various state of the art technologies from Docker, Kubernetes, Couchbase, Kafka, SAP, HANA, Amazon Cloud, Frontend tools
- Define, design, and deliver landscape for high quality Digital Factory Foundations solutions for our BSH factories worldwide
- Work together with other shape architects and the cluster architecture
- Support development teams (e.g. Software development, Testing and DevOps) of stream MES Foundations with technical guidance and architecture concepts and direction
- Working actively on the MES Platform security and testing topics to increase the security and reliability of our MES Platform
- Work with and leverage cutting-edge technologies in a modern development environment, e.g. .NET Core, C#, Angular, CI/CD
- Working in an agile teams and align with other teams on exciting solutions for the global Industry 4.0 program of BSH
Skills:
- MES with .NET would be primary
- Hands on DevOps experience (Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
- Monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana)
- MES – technical and factory domain knowledge
- .Net Overall experience
- SQL server
- MES skill set in .net background and awareness of SAP systems.
- Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLM) know how within the Microsoft stack
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field(B.E or B.Tech)
- 8+ years of software engineering experience and working knowledge of .NET Core, C#, WebAPI and SPA frameworks such as Angular; Knowledge of SAP landscape is a plus
- Advanced experience with .NET patterns and platform technologies, web technologies, RESTFUL services, CI/CD pipelines and modern system design
- Experience with software security releated topics
- Experience of holistic software platform testing
- Working experience in solution architecture documentation and architecture templates (arc42)
- Experience DevOps technologies (Azure DevOps OnPremise), CI/CD pipelines and LINUX based infrastructure.
- Experience with deployment strategies using Docker for containerization.
- Expertise in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL (Couchbase) data platforms will be valuable.
- Experience working in an Agile scrum team in a fast paced, collaborative environment and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Fluent in English, plus strong verbal and written communication skills; German would be beneficial
