Job Description

As an Art Director at build a rocket, you'll collaborate with a copywriter and Creative Director to develop innovative, visually stunning campaigns for a global gaming audience. Responsibilities include concept development, visual design (mood boards, sketches, storyboards, final assets), team collaboration with designers, strategists, and project managers, and presenting ideas to internal and external stakeholders. You'll leverage your understanding of gaming trends and aesthetics to create authentic content. The role demands strong Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and 3D software skills, plus a polished design portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking (gaming-related work is a plus).

Must have:

Multi-year Art Director experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, 3D software
Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking
Understanding of the gaming audience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

As an Art Director (m/f/d), you'll collaborate with a talented copywriter and work under the guidance of our Creative Director to bring big ideas to life. Your mission: craft innovative, visually stunning campaigns that resonate with gamers worldwide.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Concept Development: Collaborate with your copywriting partner to brainstorm and execute creative concepts based on client briefs.
Visual Design: Lead the design process, including mood boards, sketches, storyboards, and final assets, ensuring all visuals are on-brand and aligned with the campaign strategy.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, strategists, and project managers to deliver seamless campaigns across multiple channels.
Gaming Centric Creativity: Tap into the latest gaming trends and aesthetics to create content that speaks authentically to the gaming community.
Presentations: Clearly communicate ideas through pitches, mood boards, and visual presentations to both internal teams and clients.

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

Multi-years experience as an Art Director in advertising or a similar creative field.
Very good skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, 3D Software and other design tools
A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and polished design skills (gaming-related work is a huge plus).
A good understanding the gaming audience and you know how to speak their language visually.
You are an excellent communicator and a collaborative team player.
You thrive under deadlines and know how to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
