This Benefits Analyst position at Nasdaq involves supporting the Canada Benefits team in coordinating offerings and guiding employees. The role includes managing employee benefit programs (health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing), partnering with external partners, assisting with annual enrollment, preparing reports, managing data, and driving awareness of leave programs. The role also involves developing and implementing new benefit programs. The role requires working in a hybrid environment with at least two days a week in the office.
Must have:
  • 2-3 years of benefits administration experience or HR generalist.
  • Demonstrated analytic proficiency in Excel.
  • Understanding of local laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience with data reporting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to adapt in a high-pressure environment.
Good to have:
  • Experience with project management tools (Microsoft Task planner and/or Monday.com)

This is a great opportunity for you to be part of our Global Benefits team. Supporting the Canada Benefits team in the coordination of our offerings and providing guidance to employees in this region. You will support the day-to-day management of employee benefit programs including, but not limited to health and welfare, retirement and wellbeing programs. Additionally, you will work closely with our global benefits colleagues.

•  Play a key role in enhancing the employee experience regarding benefit and retirement programs in Canada.  This includes partnering with external benefit administration partners, assisting employees and leaders with benefits-related requests and a focus on continuous improvement of our processes
• Assist with the annual enrollment process including vendor coordination, systems testing, and communication dissemination
•  Prepare reports and manage benefit related data as well as administration regarding invoices for payment and benefit renewal
• Partner with benefits team to drive awareness of our various leave programs through the design and delivery of communication campaigns and assets for both employees and organizational leaders
•  Assist with the development/review of benefit summaries and booklets.
• Work with the benefits team to develop and implement new benefit programs.

• 2-3 years of experience with administration of benefits or as an HR generalist.
• Demonstrated analytic proficiency (Excel) and development of engaging presentations (PowerPoint)
• Understanding of local laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Experience working with accounting or data reporting and is comfortable with financial/cost analysis
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
• Excellent attention to detail; ability to adapt in a high-pressure environment

•Experience with project management tools i.e. Microsoft – Task planner and/or Monday.com

This position can be located in Toronto, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 2 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
