Job Description
Binance is seeking individuals for its Accelerator Program, focusing on Backend Development for a Big Data Platform. This program is designed for early-career talent to gain immersive experience in the Web3 space and understand the operations of a leading blockchain ecosystem. Participants will focus on networking and professional development. Responsibilities include developing data security platforms, engaging in the full software development lifecycle, writing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for project delivery.
Must have:
- Pursuing Computer Science or related degree
- Core Java programming skills
- SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
- Kafka knowledge
- Spring/Spring Boot familiarity
- RESTful API architecture experience
- Microservices architecture understanding
- Git version control experience
Good to have:
- Experience with open-source projects
- Spring Cloud familiarity

About Binance Accelerator Program
Binance Accelerator Program is a concise fixed-term program designed for Early Career Talent to have an immersive experience in the rapidly expanding Web3 space. You will be given the opportunity to experience life at Binance and understand what goes on behind the scenes of the worlds’ leading blockchain ecosystem. Alongside your job, there will also be a focus on networking and development, which will expand your professional network and build transferable skills to propel you forward in your career.

Who may apply
Current University students and recent Graduates who can commit at least 6 months tenure, minimum 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development of data security platforms and solutions.
- Engage in full lifecycle of software development, including requirement gathering, designing, coding, testing and deployment.
- Write clear, maintainable code, comply with team coding standards and best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging technical issues.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Core Java programming skills, with an understanding of JVM principles and multithreading development.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Redis).
- Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka).
- Familiar with Spring/Spring Boot framework.
- Solid experience in RESTful API architecture
- Understanding of microservices architecture and related distributed technologies.
- Experience with version control using Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with open-source projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with Spring Cloud is a plus.
