Business Analyst - Acquisition

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Acquisition Analyst at LeoVegas, you will be responsible for analyzing our player acquisition strategies, identifying areas for improvement in our paid media and marketing efforts and recommend solutions to enhance effectiveness of our campaigns.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a thorough understanding of digital marketing channels, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our acquisition efforts. You will be part of the Data and Analytics department, working closely with the Paid Media Team to ensure alignment with our business objectives.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Perform detailed analyses of acquisition channels (PPC, Paid Social, Paid Apps, Organic) to uncover insights, assess ROI, and optimize performance.
• Document your work via Jira (using the provided framework)
• Contribute to additional knowledge and improvements through documentation in Confluence and Atlan.
• Propose new analytical methods to understand how our KPIs interact and impact business growth.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies & automation improvements.
• Collaborate with other business analysts and the data and analytics team to improve data communication and understanding across the company.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Responsible for adhoc analysis/projects that are complex in nature and present to management, on occasions, with recommendations.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong academic background is preferred – MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Marketing or other relevant fields.
• Strong marketing knowledge, including understanding of customer acquisition strategies, digital marketing channels, and campaign optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in collecting data from various sources, conducting thorough analysis, and deriving actionable insights.
• Understanding of how data models work and integrate.
• Ability to convey complex analytical findings in an understandable manner.
• A structured and service-oriented mindset.
• Eagerness to continuously improve and grow within your career.
• Fluent in English.

NICE TO HAVES

• Whilst not a prerequisite, candidates with experience in iGaming, Data Modelling, R, Python, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau will be given preference
• Prior experience with acquisition-focused marketing and paid media channels.
