We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience in Fixed Income Securities trading, accounting or operations to assist in the developing of the Calypso trading system. Experience with mortgage-backed securities, asset backed securities, US and European bond markets and emerging markets would be a plus. Responsibilities include the assistance in writing specifications, performing functional testing of the application and providing internal training.
The ideal candidate is someone who traded bonds or supported Fixed Income Trading and has experience working with IT.
Responsibilities:
Understand market requirements by interacting with customers, company's customer support people and Calypso Professional Services Consultants.
Produce product requirements and specifications.
Coordinate work of software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of a product that meets market requirements.
Write and/or review product documentation.
Train sales people and sales support people on the features of the product and how best to demonstrate and sell it.
Participate in the sales process by demonstrating product features and presenting the product roadmap.
Perform functional and system testing.
Education Required:
Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Is working towards or has graduated with a post degree in a related field!
