Content Designer / UX Writer

Join our client's team as a Content Designer, where you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining strategic content across various digital platforms, including web, mobile, and apps. Your work will support our client's renowned guest experiences, such as parks, resorts, and cruise lines. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver user-focused content that not only enhances guest interactions but also aligns with business goals.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity, hybrid in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update content maps, information architecture, and prototypes.
• Create and manage taxonomy and facets to ensure a consistent structure across digital platforms.
• Lead the creation, governance, and delivery of content for designated projects.
• Collaborate with content designers, product designers, and cross-functional teams to craft cohesive guest experiences.
• Engage in or support user research, usability testing, and content iteration.
• Present content strategies and decisions to stakeholders and team members.
• Produce documentation and design artifacts that align with the design system.
• Stay informed on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience in content design or UX writing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in an agile work environment.
• Strong skills in content design, including information architecture, taxonomy, and design systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in content documentation for web, mobile, and app products.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping capabilities.
• Understanding of content hierarchy, storytelling, and data-driven content strategy.
• Experience in conducting user research and applying insights to design decisions.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, human behavior, and user-centered design methods.
• Familiarity with our client's brands, stories, and guest experience lines of business.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
