Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Creative Director to lead our internal design team and creative initiatives. This individual will be responsible for completing design work and guiding our designers to ensure the smooth execution of design projects and high-quality work is delivered to the business. This position will play a key role in facilitating collaboration with marketing leadership, the content team, the GTM team, and design team to bring our Bridgenext brand to life.
Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Understand and interpret creative direction provided by marketing or project leads.
- Lead design team in conceptualizing and executing visual concepts for various marketing campaigns and content programs without needing explicit direction from leadership.
- Provide input and suggestions to enhance the creative direction and overall effectiveness of designs.
- Provide creative direction and mentorship to designers, guiding them in developing their skills and executing projects.
- Ensure that design deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and specifications.
Team Management
- Own design project assignments and coordinate workflows with designers, ensuring tasks are assigned and completed according to schedule.
- Conduct regular reviews of design work to ensure adherence to quality standards, consistency, and alignment with creative briefs/project objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to designers to overcome challenges while elevating the quality and creativity of their work.
Project Execution
- Take ownership of design tasks to produce compelling visual assets (whitepapers, ebooks, email templates, presentations and website graphics, and advertising visuals) that effectively communicate key Bridgenext messages and brand identity.
- Utilize proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software products to create both static and motion design assets.
- Demonstrate expertise in UI design principles to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for digital platforms.
Collaboration And Communication
- Work closely with marketing leadership to understand project objectives, creative direction, and expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, marketers, developers, and subject matter experts to ensure alignment and cohesion across all aspects of the project.
- Effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and feedback to team members.
Process Improvement
- Implement best practices and standards to optimize productivity and quality.
- Identify opportunities to streamline design-related workflows to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement new tools that enhance the design process.
- Maintain organized file structures (design files properly labeled & versioned) to facilitate collaboration across teams and archival for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer in a marketing agency or similar environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including both static and motion design work.
- Experience in UI design and familiarity with design principles for digital platforms.
- Understanding of the creative process and ability to provide constructive feedback to designers.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong English language skills.
- Flexibility to work with onshore and offshore teams and accommodate different time zones.
