EMEA Construction Purchasing Internship

Tesla has big plans to expand in EMEA and build multiple service centers in different countries. If you would like to be part of the team which makes this happen, then this internship is for you.In EMEA Construction Purchasing, we select contractors who build our service centers. We select them through a competitive tender procedure involving a lot of negotiations, while working closely with internal stakeholders like finance, project managers, design managers and many others.

The goal of our team (the one you are going to join) is to make every sales and service center as phenomenal as our products and services are. So, you will help us make every sales and service center look amazing and create a unique experience for every customer walking in. As Intern for EMEA Construction Purchasing, you will learn from and assist Project Buyers with daily operations and overall strategy. You will choose the best suppliers to build our service centers and therefore contribute to our overall cost savings. As Intern, you will learn how to leverage the supplier/contractor market in the best way to support Tesla’s future needs.

• Together with project buyers determine list of potential bidders and suppliers
• Help us generate and solicit Requests for Proposal (RFP)
• Manage RFPs including Requests for Information (RFI’s) and issuing RFP addenda (changes to the tender)
• Perform bid analysis and make recommendations
• Participate in contract negotiations
• Analyze historical spend, as well as forecast and savings by project
• Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships
