Job Description

In Q4 2023, Intel® announced Altera® will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel®. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

As a FPGA Technical Marketing Manager, you will provide the following but not limited to:

  • Provide technical marketing and product management of Altera FPGA features such as Ethernet IP or other networking IP portfolio solution(s).

  • Work with cross-functional teams that include sales, engineering, planning and business divisions to execute on FPGA requirements.

  • Serve as customer advocate for internal engineering forums with a goal to deliver high quality solutions.

  • Support sales enablement activities including but not limited to customer presentations, sales aids, roll out updates, feature releases etc.

  • Deliver competitive analysis and/or benchmarking on product(s) owned.

  • Develop win-win customer and partner relationships through active engagement and support.

  • Work independent to define a winning strategy to customers.

  • Analyze market trends and industry reports.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in FPGA, IP, transceiver or ethernet technology areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

  • Technical Marketing experience.

  • Market sizing experience.
