Financial Corporate Compliance (FCC) is a division of Wolters Kluwer that provides a broad spectrum of solutions, services and expertise to legal, finance, risk and compliance professionals and small business owners to help manage governance, risk and compliance challenges in dynamic markets and regulatory environments, globally. The division has a global footprint, with workforce in 28 countries. Our clients include corporate legal departments, insurers, small businesses, financial services companies, brand professionals, underwriters, governments and compliance and risk professionals.

As a Fulfillment Associate, Document Management, you will manage the receipt and examination of legal notices and filings according to corporate statutes, laws & regulations. You will work in unison with our service teams to assist our clients remain in legal compliance. We are looking for individuals who are positive, accountable and committed to self-development. In this position, you will report to the Manager, Fulfillment and work onsite at our office in NYC, NY.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill orders for internal and external customers by scanning and processing documents.

  • Interact professionally with process servers, sheriffs and any other individuals delivering documents to CT Offices.

  • Research legal documents.

  • Submit and retrieve legal documents to the Secretary of State.

  • Research entity status.

  • Resolve or escalate issues.

  • Follow requests through to completion.

  • Communicate progress to customers and our teams.

  • Navigate quickly between multiple processing systems and databases quickly.

  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and organizational success.

  • Participate in process improvement programs, best practices, and occasional special projects.

  • Process State and customer documents following established Standard Operating Procedures using proprietary and Microsoft suite applications.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer some college.

Experience, Knowledge and Tools:

  • 1 year customer service experience. Prefer experience in retail, hospitality, or office environment.

  • Experience working with a variety of software programs.

  • Good typing skills (30 wpm.).

  • Overtime maybe required at the end of the month, end of the quarter and end of the year.

  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office Applications.

Preferred Experience /Knowledge:

  • Kodak Capture Pro - i4600 through and including 15600.

  • UPS CampusShip

  • Kodak scanner knowledge.

  • Employee may need to lift a maximum of 20 pounds.
