Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the art and design teams to develop original concepts for characters, environments, props, and other game assets.
Create compelling concept art that aligns with the game's overall tone and vision – blending adventure, horror, and action.
Translate gameplay mechanics and narrative themes into visually interesting and practical designs.
Produce quick sketches, color studies, and refined illustrations for feedback and iteration.
Work closely with 3D modelers, animators, and developers to ensure that concepts are accurately realized in the game.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve the visual and thematic elements of the game.
Portfolio Requirements: Please include a portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant work, including both 2D and 3D skills (2D means concept drawing to marketing thumbnails/assets).
Strong drawing and painting skills, with a good understanding of anatomy, perspective, lighting, and color theory.
A portfolio demonstrating creative and imaginative designs, with an emphasis on unique characters and atmospheric environments.
Familiarity with digital art tools such as Photoshop, Procreate, or other industry-standard software.
Ability to work within a team and take direction while contributing fresh ideas.
Experiences in working on VR games.
A passion for horror, adventure, and action genres.
Basic understanding of the game development pipeline is a plus.
Familiarity with AI tools for creative and artistic purposes is a big plus.
Experience or interest in VR and social games is a bonus, but not required.
