Job Description

This role, Garena - Database Administrator 遊戲資料維運工程師, involves participating in all stages of game development, from design to launch. Responsibilities include evaluating game architecture, code review, developing automated operations platforms, designing tools and databases. The role requires managing server resources, data center distribution, and network bandwidth, ensuring optimal resource utilization. Database responsibilities include design, environment configuration, performance tuning, backups/recovery, and scaling. This position requires immediate incident response and collaboration with teams to resolve issues. Proactive monitoring, emergency support, and optimizing client experience are also key aspects.

Must have:

3+ years Linux experience
MySQL expertise
Experience with Redis, MongoDB
Automation scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible)
Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios)
Troubleshooting online product issues

Job Description

參與遊戲自開發到上線的每個階段中的遊戲架構設計評估、程式碼審查、開發自動化維運平台、設計工具及資料庫。
管理及梳理各遊戲的服務器資源狀況、數據中心分佈情況、網絡專線及帶寬情況等，根據不同需求分配不同配置的服務器，確保充分利用服務器資源。
根據專案支援資料庫設計、環境配置、效能調優、資料備份和復原及資料庫擴充容等。
於遊戲服務出現故障時，在第一時間按流程進行通報並與相關人員進行排除。
在推動專案目標和效能管理、架構設計和程式碼審查方面發揮關鍵作用。
例行性檢查及預案、緊急任務支援。
與合作團隊密切合作，識別業務痛點，並持續優化和改善客戶體驗，提高團隊影響力。

Job Requirements

3 年 (含) 以上 Linux 操作經驗。
具工程和專案管理方面經驗，曾深入參與程式碼、網路、作業系統和儲存工作。
具 MySQL (精熟)、Redis、MongoDB 資料庫設計和支援大規模研究儲存系統的經驗。
熟悉 Bash、Python、Ansible 等自動化腳本。
熟悉以 Prometheus、Zabbix、Nagios 進行資源使用監控和告警配置。
線上產品的故障排除及疑難解答經驗。
