Job Responsibilities :
The Graphic Designer is responsible to drive the visual identity and products packaging. This individual will be a key part of the creative team, responsible for developing captivating, brand-aligned graphics across various packaging designs. He/She plays a vital role in developing compelling visuals that express Razer’s bold brand identity, must have a good eye for great aesthetics and are a person who thrives under technical challenges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design packaging graphics for Razer products, from concept through to production, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, marketers, and copywriters, to develop packaging that highlights the product's key features and appeals to our target audience.
- Create mock-ups, dielines, and print-ready files for product packaging, ensuring high-quality and accurate output.
- Review and approve proofs to ensure quality control during the printing and production process.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on current packaging design trends and competitor packaging strategies.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while balancing creative vision and brand consistency.
- Ensure packaging complies with regulatory and legal requirements in various global markets.
- Work with external vendors and suppliers to ensure packaging is produced to the highest standards.
Pre-Requisites :
- A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in graphic / packaging design, preferably in technology or consumer goods sectors.
- An intermediate knowledge of mass printing industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing beyond the expected.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Knowledge of 3D rendering and mock-up tools is a plus.
- Passion for gaming or experience within the gaming industry is a plus.
