The Head of B2B Logistics is responsible for the business's Profit and Loss (P&L) for the Restock business. This role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to optimize the restock network, reduce costs, and improve sales efficiency. Key responsibilities include overseeing all logistics aspects such as transportation and distribution, developing product strategy and solutions based on customer requirements and market analysis, and providing solutions to the commercial team for customer acquisition, retention, cross-selling, and up-selling. The position requires a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving continuous improvement.
Must have:
  • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and carriers
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales on pipeline development
  • Forecast customer needs to enhance offering
  • Formulate new business plans by analyzing trends
  • Propose solutions and explanations from data analysis
  • Maintain good relationships with stakeholders
  • Develop a team of B2B account managers
  • Oversee transportation and distribution processes
  • Implement strategic initiatives to optimize the restock network
  • Collaborate with suppliers to streamline processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Build strong client relationships and reduce attrition
  • Execute client meetings to secure and retain shippers
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in providing customer solutions
  • Operational and commercial experience in a corporate environment

Job Details

Head of Ninja Restock is responsible for delivering the business P&L of the Restock business. He/she will develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the restock network, minimize costs, and enhance sales proficiency and efficiency. He/she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics, including transportation, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The Head of B2B Logistics will develop the product strategy and solutions based on customer requirements by understanding and analyzing the market landscape. He/she will provide solutions to the commercial team for new acquisition, retention, cross-selling and up-selling.

Main Duties

    • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, carriers, and other partners to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels that support business objectives.
    • Work closely with the Head of Sales on pipeline developments and conversion timeline.
    • Forecast customers needs to enhance offering and competitiveness.
    • Formulate new business plans by analyzing the prevalent trends, dynamics and market movements.
    • Propose solutions and explanations from analyzing data and research outputs.
    • Maintain good relationships and work closely with all the stakeholders to ensure processes run smoothly and do not impact day to day operations.
    • develop a team of B2B account managers and operations support.
    • Work closely with product specialist/Project Manager and the Core operation team and create an atmosphere in which timely and high quality work products flow smoothly.
    • Participate in customer meetings, and assist in determining solutions that will be effective that will help in sales conversion.
    • Oversee the transportation, and distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing transportation costs and maximizing turnover.
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the restock network, minimize costs, and enhance sales proficiency and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to streamline processes, improve lead times, and ensure consistent quality and reliability of materials and services.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to transportation, and distribution activities. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
    • Build a strong client relationship to ensure accounts perform and grow to their maximum potential, reducing attrition rate and minimizing opportunities for competitors to gain business.
    • Implement and execute client meetings/visits to help the commercial team secure & retain shippers and maximize growth within the existing customer base.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree, Advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum 6 years of experience in providing solution to the customers
    • Preferred candidates that has operational and commercial experience and experience in corporate environment
