Job Description
The IT Administrator will be the initial point of contact for internal customers, handling helpdesk tasks, hardware and software installation and support, and general IT administrative duties. The role supports global IT initiatives and requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently. This role involves desktop/laptop and server management, IT infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting, and knowledge of IT security principles. Experience working with R&D teams is preferred.
Must have:
- 2-5 years of desktop support experience.
- Basic IPV4 network knowledge.
- Windows 10/11 knowledge.
- Windows Active Directory familiarity.
- OS patch installation and management.
- Office 365 with Intune and Teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems.
Good to have:
- Linux knowledge is a plus.

- Desktop / laptop installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Server installation, configuration, and maintenance
- General IT Infrastructure installation, configuration and maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly identify and remedy issues
- Familiarity with IT security principles, vulnerabilities and defenses
- Experience working with R&D engineering teams is preferred
- Education: High School Diploma minimum
- 2-5 years’ experience in desktop support role in a medium sized organization administering multiple desktop and laptop hardware
- Basic IPV4 network knowledge
- Windows 10 / 11
- Windows Active Directory familiarity
- OS patch installation and management
- Office 365 with Intune and Teams
- Ability to evaluate, create, or update internal processes and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly identify and remedy issues
- Ability to troubleshoot basic network problems
- Linux knowledge a plus
- Hybrid, 3 office days
- Work will require standing, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling. Ability to lift, move or carry up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis. Specific vision abilities include close vision, and distance vision.
