Job Description

As a Jr. Media Buyer, you will be responsible for managing pre-identified budget allocations, executing media buys, and selecting the most efficient channels for clients based on plans developed by Media Planners. You will work closely with the Accounts, Digital Media, and Traditional Media departments to ensure adherence to company processes. Key responsibilities include generating purchase estimates, ensuring media placements, communicating with media vendors, generating reports, monitoring campaign performance, and taking corrective actions as needed.

Job Description

Responsable de manejar las distribuciones de presupuesto previamente identificadas por los Media Planners. Encargado/a de realizar las compras de las pautas y escoger las mejores eficiencias o canales para los clientes basado en los planes desarrollados por los Media Planners. Para poder ejecutar y cumplir con los procesos establecidos por la empresa, estará trabajando en conjunto con los Departamentos de Cuentas, Medios Digitales y Medios Tradicionales.

RESPONSABILIDADES CLAVES

  • Generar estimados de compras según los parámetros que le provea el Planner o Director para conseguir aprobación del estimado y proceder a enviar contratos a los distintos medios.
  • Asegurar que los medios tengan las pautas para todos los contratos, según lo provea el Planner o Cuentas.
  • Ejecutar las compras de medios de acuerdo con los parámetros aprobados en el plan de medios.
  • Comunicarse con los vendedores de medios.
  • Generar cambios en el sistema sobre compras o contratos y enviarlos a los medios a través de sus vendedores.
  • Encargarse de hacer los reportes de competencia, realizar la entrada de datos en Excel y preparar presentaciones en PowerPoint con comentarios básicos.
  • Generar reporte de monitoreo de toda la actividad para asegurar que esté pautando según contratado.
  • Monitorear y evaluar el desempeño de cada contrato para validar que está pautando correctamente.  Tomar medidas correctivas cuando sea necesario luego de dialogarlo con un supervisor.

  • Habilidad para negociar de manera efectiva con los medios

REQUISITOS

  • Bachillerato en Publicidad, Mercadeo o relacionado
  • Conocimiento en programas de computadora como Excel nivel intermedio, PowerPoint, Word, entre otros
  • Más de 1 año de experiencia en agencias de publicidad o campo de las comunicaciones
  • Conocimiento de todas las herramientas de compras de medios
  • Conocimiento de cambios de tarifas de medios
