ALDI is seeking a Junior Store Assistant to join their award-winning retail team. As a casual employee, you will be trained to become a retail superstar, contributing to a diverse and inclusive team. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers on the shop floor, maintaining store organization and cleanliness, and performing back-of-store duties such as unpacking stock and replenishing shelves. Junior Store Assistants are the backbone of our retail stores and keep our stores running by:

  • Assisting customers with finding their favourite products on the shop floor with a smile
  • Keeping our aisles organised, clean and looking fabulous  
  • Back of store duties including unloading and unpacking stock, keeping our shelves full so our customers can find their favourites!

Qualifications

  • The flexibility and availability to work on weekends, after school hours between 4pm - 9pm and during school holidays.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • A strong work ethic, you are known for being reliable.
  • A great eye for detail, with the ability to notice when things look out of place.
  • Enthusiasm to be part of a team and to understand the importance of being a great teammate.

  • Market-leading hourly rate relevant to your state and age, of $17.31 - $20.75 + shift allowances.
