Behaviour Interactive seeks a full-time Law Intern (Bar of Quebec) for a 6-month internship starting in early 2025. The intern will assist the legal team in various tasks, including contract law analysis, intellectual property research, drafting legal documents (confidentiality agreements, software licenses, etc.), managing the trademark and copyright portfolio, and supporting operational teams on special projects. The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent French and English communication, and proficiency in legal drafting. Legal experience and gaming industry knowledge are considered assets.
Must have:

- Completed Bar of Quebec exam

Behaviour is looking for a full-time law intern (Bar of Quebec) for a 6 months internship. If you are known for your analytic capacities, you love working in a dynamic and collaborative environment where tasks are varied and changing, we’d love to talk to you!
The chosen candidate will work under the Legal Counsel and will receive guidance to achieve the necessary autonomy to practice law, while discovering the day to day of in-house counsel.

To be considered for this internship, you must:

· Be able to work 37,5 hours/week for 6 months starting early 2025 (Flexible starting date depending on requirements from the Bar of Québec);
· Be eligible to work FULL TIME in Canada in Montréal at the time of your application.

In this role you will:
- Assist the legal team in the analysis of contract law, intellectual property, consumer law and privacy issues, and conduct related legal research;
- Assist the legal team in drafting and reviewing legal documents (confidentiality agreements, software licenses, supplier contracts, demand letters, authorization forms, various letters, etc.);
- Support the legal team in the management and protection of the trademark and copyright portfolio (including copyright filings, clearance searches and preparation of proofs of trademark use);
- Assist the legal team in supporting operational and corporate teams on special projects, and perform any other related tasks.

Areas of law
What we’re looking for :
- Bachelor of Law degree
- Having successfully completed the Bar Of Quebec exam and be eligible for the Bar’s internship;
- Excellent skills in French and English, both written and spoken (most of the contacts are in English);
- Good skills in legal text drafting
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and spoken;
- Proficient in time management and prioritization;
- Thoroughness, professionalism and ability to respect confidentiality;
- Proficiency in the Office suite;
- Legal experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the gaming industry is an asset.

Behaviour est à la recherche d’un.e stagiaire en droit (Barreau du Québec) à temps plein pour effectuer un stage de 6 mois. Le personne choisie relèvera de la Conseillère juridique et recevra des conseils pour atteindre l'autonomie nécessaire à la pratique du droit, tout en découvrant le quotidien d'un juriste d'entreprise.
