Seeking an Office Cleaning / Medical Cleaning professional for weekend-only shifts. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, waiting areas, and offices. Tasks involve dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, restocking supplies, and handling medical waste according to proper protocols. The role requires maintaining cleaning equipment, adhering to safety guidelines and infection control procedures, and reporting any maintenance issues. This position offers weekend work on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
Must have:
  • Proven cleaning experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Understanding of infection control in medical environments
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Excellent time management and efficiency
  • Physical stamina for cleaning tasks
  • Flexibility for weekend work
  • Reliable transportation to the work location
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Clean criminal background
  • Willing to complete onboarding quizzes
  • Willing to obtain yearly TB test
  • Willing to get flu vaccine or provide exemption letter

Full-Service Facility Maintenance company offering a wide range of janitorial services for industrial, commercial, and construction customers throughout Northeast Ohio for the past 28 years. 

 

Job Description

  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, and staff office
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including countertops, desks, and equipment
  • Vacuum carpets and mop hard floor surfaces
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks and mirrors
  • Restock supplies in bathrooms and other areas as needed
  • Follow proper protocols for handling and disposing of medical waste
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control procedures
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisor

 

$15.00 hr.  Weekend Work - Saturday and  Sunday 7am-3:30pm

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in a medical healthcare setting 
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Understanding of infection control and sanitation standards in medical environments
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and cleaning protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to thouroughness
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
  • Flexibility to work evening hours and potentially weekends
  • Reliable transportation to reach the work location
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a medical setting

Must have a clean criminal background and be will to complete onboarding assessment quizzes using a computer/laptop

Must be will to obtain a yearly Tuberculosis Test (TB) and Flu Vaccine or be able to provide a letter from your healthcare provider or spirtual advisor that you are exempt from the Flu Vaccine.
