Job Description
As a Partner Engineer at YouTube, you'll lead device partnership deployments, optimizations, and integrations. You'll manage technical engagements, finding creative solutions and collaborating with product, engineering, business development, operations, and marketing teams. Responsibilities include improving operations, defining and commercializing new solutions, bridging product gaps, automating partner operations, and overseeing new initiatives from conception to deployment. You'll balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop solutions, and act as a consultant. Building tools, automating products, and overseeing technical execution of Google's partnerships are also key. You will guide implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues. You'll provide partner feedback to improve product offerings, guarantee the technical aspects of partner integrations through documentation and guidance, and drive business growth from existing and new opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies. Leading YouTube certification operations for Living Room partners (e.g., Samsung, LG, Amazon) is also a core responsibility.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
- Coding experience (Java, C/C++, Python)
- Technical troubleshooting and partner management experience
Good to have:
- Program/project management experience
- Client-facing role experience
- Experience with embedded devices, consumer electronics, SoC providers, and Pay TV Operators
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- Experience in coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in program/project management and business technology market with engineering, business and marketing teams.
- 1 year of experience in a client-facing role.
- Experience with embedded devices, Consumer Electronics manufacturers, System on a Chip (SoC) providers, and Pay TV Operators.
- Ability to speak to business and technical stakeholders with excellent communication, problem solving, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.Responsibilities
- Guide implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical tests.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
- Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
- Identify, drive, and optimize the business growth flow from existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies.
- Lead YouTube certification operations for all device YouTube Living Room Partners (e.g., Samsung, LG, Amazon).
