The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Pay TV Programming, this role will deliver the planning and support scheduling of Pay TV brands across linear and associated digital platforms. A key focus is the effective use of available content, ensuring optimized audience performance and a continuous improvement approach to content plans and processes.

What you will deliver

You will focus on executing commercially successful schedules and recommending plans that deliver to the content strategy and ratings targets.

  • Understand and share information on the pipeline of available content to ensure content is effectively utilised across channels and platforms.  

  • Develop and communicate channel plans within the wider business, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of information.

  • Work collaboratively with the APAC Content Scheduling and Media Planning teams, making sure clear programming information is provided.

  • Analyse channel performance and suggest changes and improvements to plans that will grow audiences.

  • Collaborate with the wider ANZ Content team to optimise audiences across all platforms (linear and digital) and support all strategic and operational priorities.

  • Support the needs of Marketing and Creative, ensuring necessary information and content priorities are communicated.

  • Work across other platforms and channels as required.

What you bring to the role

  • Experience in a TV broadcast environment, with an understanding of television scheduling and programming.

  • Experience in evaluating content and good editorial judgement to determine best schedule placement.

  • Understanding of audience behaviours and trends, particularly within targeted environments

  • High level of attention to detail with a proactive attitude to continuous improvement of systems and processes

  • Comfortable with data, with an ability to analyse information and create concise and accurate key outtakes and consequent actions.

  • Proactive and collaborative team player who is happy to get stuck in wherever needed to help the broader team deliver fantastic results.

  • Independent thinker with a strategic mindset - able to think creatively, self-motivated and willing to take risks.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in an ever-changing environment.

  • Good presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and relevant messages to internal audiences.
