Job Description

The People Partner, Cloud Technology, plays a crucial role in Google's People Operations. This position requires 12+ years of HR business partner or generalist experience within global companies, with a focus on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and organizational design. Responsibilities include preparing leaders for organizational change, managing communication of people strategies, translating company OKRs into actionable plans, identifying talent gaps, supporting talent selection and development, and driving improvements in organizational health through trend analysis and cultural initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Cloud Technology businesses and possess strong communication and consensus-building skills. The role is based in Hyderabad or Bengaluru, India.

Must have:

12+ years HR experience
Organizational effectiveness expertise
Workforce planning & design experience
Cloud Technology business support (preferred)
Excellent communication & consensus-building skills

Good to have:

Understanding of continuous improvement in HR/Talent policies
Experience with OKRs

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR generalist supporting leaders at global companies.
Experience in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience in supporting Cloud Technology business.
Understanding of current and future processes needed to pursue continuous improvement in HR and Talent policies and practices.
Ability to garner consensus from internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, surrounding new ideas and strategies.
Ability to communicate across audiences, situations, and contexts in both a written and verbal format.

Responsibilities

Prepare leaders and teams to embrace organizational change, shaping and executing comprehensive people plans.
Manage clear communication of people strategies and implement organizational changes to achieve desired business goals.
Translate company-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKR) into actionable plans tailored to the specific needs of the Cloud technology business, providing feedback to identify potential gaps.
Identify talent gaps, organizational shortcomings, and people needs that could hinder business strategy execution; use this analysis to guide resourcing and development initiatives.
Support the selection and development of talent, and actively drive organizational health improvements through trend monitoring, cultural analysis, and promotion of a diverse, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
