Position Overview:

As a Microsoft Modern Workplace Technical/ Solution Specialist at Zones, you will be a key player in driving the success of our Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions revenue, gross margin, and partner maturity. You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide “art of the possible” technical guidance on the unique value of the Zones and Microsoft alliance. 
You will leverage your deep understanding of Microsoft products and the cloud solutions landscape to identify new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships. 
This role will be a key contributor in developing and executing the sales GTM strategy for Microsoft and the SW/Cloud Ecosystem Partners Products, Solutions, and Services.  
Requires the aptitude and communication discipline to develop relationships and collaborate with organizational leaders across the company building a foundation for collaboration and leveraging partner initiatives to contribute to our revenue expansion. 
Be skilled in leading and developing others outside of the direct organization. 
Additionally, this role has a direct influence on the evolution of the company's Cloud GTM strategy.

What you’ll do as the Microsoft Modern Workplace Technical Specialist:

  • Serve as a technical Modern Workplace subject matter expert and trusted advisor to customers
  • Engage with cutting-edge Microsoft Azure solutions
  • Demonstrate and prove our solutions to win the technical decision
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Spend 75% of work hours on qualified customer engagements, including planning, preparation, and meetings
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Microsoft and other strategic partners
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to increase service and solution revenue and margins
  • Work closely with the Microsoft BDMs, sales, and marketing teams to create and implement effective propensity driven campaigns and promotions
  • Provide expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and licensing to customers and internal teams
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
  • Weekly update/reporting to Sr. Management on progress/KPIs
