The Product Industrialization Project Manager (PIPM) will be responsible for the development and improvement of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment, ensuring efficient production within PDLM. This role involves initiating Design for Lean Manufacturing, accounting for process and design changes in Philips factories, and managing resources, planning, quality, and cost for industrialization projects. The PIPM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective resolutions and demonstrating expertise in manufacturing processes, equipment, and production lines.
Must have:
  • BS/MS degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Project Management skills, PMP preferred.
  • Strong understanding of R&D development processes.

Product Industrialization Project Manager

In this role you

Philips Oral Healthcare (OHC) is seeking a Product Industrialization Project Manager (PIPM) to join the Product Industrialization Engineering (PIE) team.   The PIPM is responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools, and equipment of the manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes within PDLM.  This role is the pitcher of new product industrialization projects towards the manufacturing sites.


Your role:

  • Initiates Design for Lean Manufacturing in PDLM processes. Applies lean manufacturing principles.
  • Accountable for Process Requirements based on Product Specifications from I&D and Manufacturing Requirements
  • Accountable for design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers driven by PDLM governed projects
  • Responsible for resources, planning, quality, and cost (including Capex) for industrialization projects

You're the right fit if:

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Project Management skills, PMP preferred
  • Strong understanding of R&D development processes and global Supply Chain operations processes and strong understanding of plastics and injection molding.
  • Demonstrated success in working complex issues with cross-functional team members to effective resolution
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing process, equipment, and production lines, design for manufacturing, assembly, and testability

Operational Excellence including Lean Manufacturing and problem solving

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA is $93,000 – 140,000, Annually. 

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA.
