Job Description

This Product Marketing Manager role focuses on the launch and sustained success of an unannounced AAA game. Responsibilities include developing pre- and post-launch strategies, identifying target audiences, crafting compelling messaging, collaborating with cross-functional teams (advertising, social media, design, PR, community), monitoring key metrics (player numbers, costs, retention), and adapting plans based on data. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of experience in product marketing or brand management within gaming or entertainment, a strong understanding of F2P models, and exceptional communication skills. The role requires managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively, while staying abreast of industry trends and player behaviors. The position is hybrid (3-4 days in the office).
Must have:
  • 4+ years experience in product marketing or brand management (gaming industry preferred)
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of F2P game business models
  • Market research, competitor analysis, audience segmentation
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Data analysis and interpretation proficiency (Excel or similar)
Good to have:
  • Experience with AAA gaming projects
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI)

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help launch our unannounced project and keep it rolling strong. You’ll build the hype before we go live and keep players hooked after.

Reports to

Marketing Director

What will you do?

  • Develop the launch plan—build pre-registration buzz and create post-launch strategies to retain players.
  • Identify our audience and craft messaging that connects with them.
  • Research competitors and gather player feedback to refine our approach before and after launch.
  • Collaborate with advertising, social media, and design teams to deliver compelling campaigns and assets.
  • Partner with PR and community teams to share updates and engage players pre- and post-launch.
  • Monitor key metrics (player numbers, costs, retention) and adjust plans based on results.

What are we looking for?

  • 4+ years of professional experience in product marketing or brand management, ideally within the gaming or entertainment industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns from concept through to post-launch.
  • Strong understanding of Free-to-Play (F2P) game business models, player motivations, and market dynamics.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate strategies and ideas.
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis and interpretation, with proficiency in tools such as Excel or relevant analytics platforms.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
  • Deep understanding of current gaming industry trends and player behaviors.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.

  • Previous experience working on successful AAA or high-profile gaming projects.
  • Familiarity with popular analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proven success in managing influencer marketing campaigns or community-driven initiatives.
  • Creativity and innovation demonstrated through unique and successful marketing concepts.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (advertising, PR, social media, design).
  • Passion for gaming combined with knowledge of industry trends.

Work mode

Hybrid (3-4 days of work from the office)
