As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As a Program manager in the App Ads team, you will lead strategic initiatives and initiatives that unlock business growth opportunities.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience with Software Development and managing software development life-cycle
  • Experience with Data Analytics and reporting
  • Design and deliver predictable program communication plans
  • Determine phasing and metrics associated with program life-cycle
  • Determine and collect data needed to execute and manage programs
  • Execute change management requirements
Good to have:
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects across distributed sites
  • Experience in process definition, change management and scalability and workflow automation
  • Experience with the Ads domain
  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

As a Program manager in the App Ads team, you will lead strategic initiatives and initiatives that unlock business growth opportunities.

Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver predictable program communication plans in collaboration with program stakeholders, and communications by stakeholder type. 
  • Determine phasing and metrics associated with program life-cycle that address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship in collaboration with program stakeholders.
  • Determine and collect data needed to execute and manage programs, maintain project trackers and status reports, and identify and execute on program tasks including managing dependencies. 
  • Execute change management requirements that are identified by program stakeholders. 
  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, manage expectations of program stakeholders, and ensure they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
