QA Engineer - React Native Automation

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team, specializing in React Native automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation, and experience with React Native applications. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for our React Native mobile applications, ensuring high-quality products and efficient testing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for React Native mobile applications using tools like Appium, Detox, or similar

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop effective test strategies

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented automation code

- Troubleshoot and debug automation issues

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the automation framework

- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and methodologies in mobile automation

- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

- Analyze and report test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation

- 2+ years of experience with React Native automation (Appium, Detox, or similar)

- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and familiarity with React Native framework

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

Nice to Have:

- Experience with cloud-based automation tools (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack)

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI)

- Familiarity with testing libraries like Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha
