Job Description

The Sales Operations Analyst at Tesla is responsible for providing a comprehensive overview of sales performance in the Nordic region (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway), identifying trends and problem areas. This role requires leveraging data and insights to support sales goals, improving sales performance, and developing sales initiatives. Responsibilities include market research, forecasting, collaborating with retail development teams, tracking location performance, communicating with leadership, driving metric adoption, data review and presentation, acting as a key data contact, gathering regional feedback, reporting data issues, and supporting ad-hoc requests. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and some SQL knowledge. Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages is essential.

  • 3+ years of quantitative analysis experience

What to Expect

The Sales Operations Analyst is the brain of the Sales organization that provides the critical thinking, insights and plans required for Tesla to continue to aggressively scale and operate at the highest performance and with optimal efficiency. You will be contributing towards the continued development of the sales growth strategy, as well as supporting the business drive performance in the region.

You will also enable the adoption of KPI metrics and data products by collaborating and partnering with respective teams from the EMEA HQ in Amsterdam

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for providing a full overview of the Sales Performance of your market, including identification of trends and evolving problem areas
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the right data and insights are accurate and available at each level of the organization in order to support the sales goals
  • Proactively investigate and expose areas of improvement in sales performance and provide data-driven support to ensure leaders can drive effective accountability and improvement
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative analysis to help develop and prioritize sales initiatives. You will provide the identification, planning and argumentation of opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and forecasting by utilizing internal and external data tools to help forecast expected sales under different scenarios
  • Investigate current market coverage – ensure proper sales footprint
  • Collaborate with Retail Development teams to provide the inputs necessary for future locations based on expected sales potential
  • Track and measure the performance of current locations making recommendations of where to maintain, grow and drive efficiency in operations
  • Communicate effectively with the leadership team to identify and address areas for improvement
  • Drive adoption of reports and metrics; ensure alignment and good understanding of metrics in the field
  • Perform regular data reviews and create presentations for local management to support with their weekly performance tracking and management
  • Act as key point of contact for all data and analytics topics for your region
  • Gather feedback from the region and identify needs for data product development
  • Report data issues and consolidate requirements for dashboard/data source improvement requests as well as provide upwards feedback to EMEA HQ where required
  • Support with ad hoc requests and deep dives (e.g. segmentation, campaigns, preparation of weekly decks, etc.)
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required quantitative analysis, project management, thought leadership and problem-solving
  • Expertise in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information to create comprehensive analyses and insights that drive strategic direction
  • Ability to create executive-level presentations quickly
  • Hardworking; willing to go way above and beyond
  • Passion for Tesla’s products and belief in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the transition toward sustainable energy
  • You possess previous experiences or have a strong interest in real estate and the built environment
  • You are communicative and fluent in written and spoken English and have a good base in Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish
