Security Analyst, Google Cloud Business Platform
Job Summary
Job Description
As a Security Analyst on the Google Cloud Business Platform (GCBP) team, you will work with other security and privacy engineers to identify risks and implement remediation across various systems. You'll leverage technical skills and communication abilities to ensure Google Cloud's secure delivery of services globally. Responsibilities include performing security reviews, participating in threat modeling, developing remediation recommendations, driving impact across security improvements, understanding risk, and proposing enhancements to security policies. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, security protocols, and security assessments/design reviews/threat modeling.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years security engineering experience
- 4+ years security assessment/design review experience
- Security reviews, threat modeling, remediation recommendations
Good to have:
- Security+ or similar certification
- Incident analysis, triaging, and remediation
- Automation via coding/scripting
- Understanding attacker TTPs

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
- 4 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Security+ or similar Cyber Security/Incident Response.
- Experience analyzing, triaging, and remediating common information security incidents.
- Experience with automation via coding or scripting.
- Understanding of common attacker tactics, tools, and techniques.
