Job Description

The Business Associate at Eccentric is responsible for driving year-over-year (YoY) growth by managing and expanding customer relationships, ensuring seamless project execution, and achieving business objectives. This involves mapping revenue streams, creating roadmaps, and collaborating across functions to deliver outstanding customer experiences. The role includes defining and achieving YoY growth targets, mapping revenue streams, building case studies, developing roadmaps, conducting customer interactions, identifying new opportunities, obtaining department budgets, coordinating with teams, and maintaining understanding of competitors. Also, it involves monitoring roadblocks, maintaining invoice visibility, conducting performance reviews, negotiating purchases, setting SLAs, tracking AMC hours, creating product prioritization grids, and fostering idea sharing.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in account management or similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with revenue mapping skills.
  • Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and business processes.
  • Ability to travel for customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools and CRM software.
  • Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Sales.

Eccentric's mission –

We are building a Showroom-like experience in a virtual world where a vehicle buyer

●     Can take a 3D walkthrough of all models/variants/trims on sale

●     Can customize the vehicle and see exactly how it looks like and how much it will cost

●     Can take a ‘Virtual Consultation’ with a sales agent in the virtual world (some like to call it Metaverse)


The Role:

The Business Associate at Eccentric is responsible for driving YoY growth by managing and expanding customer relationships, ensuring seamless project execution, and achieving business objectives. This role involves revenue mapping, roadmap creation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities (75%)


Customer Growth & Relationship Management:

  • Define and achieve year-on-year (YoY) growth targets for assigned customers.
  • Map revenue streams for each customer (e.g., 3D Warehouse, Dealer Licenses, Image Renders).
  • Build at least one case study per quarter for every customer.
  • Develop and secure approval for both short-term and long-term roadmaps with each customer.
  • Conduct two physical interactions per quarter with each customer to strengthen relationships.
  • Identify new opportunities within customers' business areas.

Operational Excellence:

  • Obtain department-wise budgets for each customer.
  • Coordinate with the Product, APM, and Development teams to prioritize deliverables and ensure process alignment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of competitors’ rate cards and insights from customer interactions.
  • Monitor and resolve roadblocks in collaboration with management and customers.
  • Maintain end-to-end visibility of invoices and ensure timely contract execution.

Performance & Feedback:

  • Monthly performance reviews on project deliveries and provide actionable feedback to team members.
  • Negotiate and finalize purchases while ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Set and enforce clear SLAs, KPIs, and expectations as per customer roadmaps.

Process Optimization & Visibility:

  • Track and report AMC hours to ensure customers are aware of team efforts.
  • Create a product-prioritization grid for each customer to enhance focus and efficiency.
  • Foster cross-pollination of ideas by integrating best practices from other business teams.

Cultural Responsibilities (25%)

Collaboration:

  • Work cohesively with team members and other departments to achieve shared goals.

Ownership:

  • Exhibit a “goes over and above” attitude, assisting team members and managers proactively.

Communication:

  • Maintain open and effective communication, ensuring closure of all discussions and tasks.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

2.    4+ years of experience in account management, business development, or a similar role.

3.    Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

4.    Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

5.    Analytical mindset with the ability to map revenues and prioritize deliverables.

6.    Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and business processes.

7.    Ability to travel for customer interactions as required.

8.    Proficiency in collaboration tools and CRM software.

9.    Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Sales is required.

Note: This role requires a proactive individual who can blend analytical skills with relationship management to deliver business growth and operational excellence.
