DevOps Architect

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of our infrastructure and deployment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in containerization, orchestration, infrastructure as code, and monitoring solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure systems.This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth. 

Please Note: You must have at least 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer to be considered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using tools like Terraform.

• Design and manage containerized applications using Docker and Podman.

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate microservices.

• Set up and maintain monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana.

• Implement logging solutions with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to ensure observability.

• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems, particularly RHEL, ensuring system stability and security.

• Automate system tasks and configurations using Python scripts.

• Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.

• Lead the adoption of DevOps best practices and mentor team members.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Architect or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying microservices.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

• Familiarity with logging tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go.

• Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker, Podman) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Excellent communication skills — fluent in English language (verbal and written).

• Must have an organized and analytical working style, and the ability to plan your own work.

• Initiative and drive to do great things.
