Job Description
The Senior Accounts Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting activities. Responsibilities include guiding junior staff, reviewing their work, and taking a leading role in financial projects. They will also handle payables, supplier queries, and reconciliations, as well as day-to-day accounting duties, posting invoices, and liaising with the Treasury team for payments. Additional duties involve processing payments, bank reconciliations, maintaining accruals, and ensuring clear communication with various cost owners. Furthermore, the role encompasses processing staff reimbursements and assisting with audits.
Must have:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Good knowledge of core accounting principles and processes.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Organised with good verbal and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
Good to have:
- iGaming industry knowledge.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Essential Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a fast-paced or dynamic finance environment.
- Good working knowledge of core accounting principles and processes, including double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliation of data.
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail are very important for this role.
- Organised with good verbal and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
Nice to have skills:
- iGaming industry knowledge.
