Job Description

The Senior AI Sales Specialist at Google Cloud will grow the AI business by building and expanding customer relationships. This involves developing relationships with external stakeholders, identifying business improvements, and partnering with internal GCP teams. Responsibilities include calibrating business against objectives, forecasting and reporting, building executive relationships, assisting customers with AI use case identification, developing account plans, working with Google teams to build pipelines, and executing Go-to-Market strategies with Cloud teams and partners. The role requires fluency in Japanese and English and extensive experience in enterprise software, cloud, or AI sales.
Must have:
  • 12+ years sales experience in enterprise software/cloud/AI
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Experience building business cases and implementation plans
  • Ability to identify and deliver AI use cases
  • Executive relationship building
  • Account plan development and execution
Good to have:
  • Partner management experience
  • AI technology stack promotion experience
  • Google Cloud and Google Cloud AI knowledge
  • Broad industry-specific AI/ML use case understanding
  • Ability to connect AI/ML with business value

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software, cloud or AI space.
  • Experience partnering with technical staff to build business cases and implementation plans.
  • Experience identifying and delivering use cases.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing partners in implementation projects including global system integrator and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience promoting the Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology stack.
  • Experience with product teams with knowledge of how to embed our technology into their product set.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud and Google Cloud AI offerings.
  • Ability to drive business growth across a broad set of industry-specific AI/ML use cases.
  • Ability to connect AI/ML with business value and collaborate with executive stakeholders as an advisor and thought leader.

In this role, you will be responsible for growing our Artificial Intelligence (AI) business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will develop relationships with external customer stakeholders, identifying ways to improve the business. You will partner with internal Google Cloud Platform (GCP) business teams to grow their AI businesses and deliver the overall value for GCP.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate the business against the objectives and results. Forecast and report the state of the business for the territory.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers as the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Subject Matter Expert. Influence direction for your new and existing customers as well as the Google Cloud Field Business Representative and Customer Engineers (CEs).
  • Assist customers in identifying AI use cases suitable for Google Cloud AI products and solutions. Articulate solution differentiators.
  • Develop and execute account plans, including an enterprise plan across verticals.
  • Work with Google Account and technical teams to develop and motivate pipelines, and provide expertise. Execute Go-To-Market business and related efforts with the Cloud teams and GCP Partners.
