Job Description

As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you will collaborate with data architects to manage the entire data lifecycle: acquisition, exploration, cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualization. You'll build data processing pipelines, data visualization tools, and analytics products, including automated services and APIs, all within the Azure ecosystem. Responsibilities include utilizing and creating data pipelines, performing data analysis, optimizing query performance, and conducting advanced analytics. This role requires proficiency in ADF, ADB, PySpark, and Python, along with strong SQL skills for creating complex queries.

Must have:

Proficient in ADF, ADB, PySpark, Python
Strong SQL knowledge (complex queries)
7+ years relevant experience
Data pipeline creation & analysis
Query tuning & Performance optimization

Good to have:

Azure Synapse knowledge
PowerBI, ThoughtSpot knowledge
CICD (GIT or Azure DevOps)

Project description

As a Data Engineer you'll be working alongside data architects to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation and visualization. You will be creating the pipeline for data processing, data visualization, and analytics products, including automated services, and APIs.

Responsibilities

Use and create data pipelines, analyze data, tune query performance, perform advanced analytics all within the Azure Ecosystem.

Skills

Must have

Proficient in ADF, ADB, PySpark, Python

Strong SQL knowledge ( capable of writing and creating complex SQL queries)

7+ years of relevant experience

Nice to have

Good to have Azure Synapse knowledge.

Good to have PowerBI, ThoughtSpot knowledge.

*CICD (GIT or Azure DevOps)

Proficient in query tuning and Performance optimization.
