As a Senior Compensation Consulting Analyst at Mercer, you will work with the smartest and most energetic people in the industry. Your responsibilities will include providing analytical support to Senior Consultants on projects related to rewards, benefits, and talent analytics. You will conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, collaborate with stakeholders on rewards advisory projects, contribute to client relationship building, and participate in team brainstorming sessions. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with project teams to structure analyses and present information to meet client objectives. This role is a hybrid role, requiring at least three days of in-office work.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Team at Mercer. This position will be based in Singapore office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Be a strong team player and provide analytical support to Senior Consultants on the ongoing projects across rewards, benefits, talent analytics etc.

  • Have experience working in the domain of compensation, total rewards and / or talent, preferably in an advisory environment.

  • Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends, and best practices in talent management.

  • Collaborate with various team leads / stakeholders, on rewards advisory projects, providing external market insights across industry segments

  • Conduct research on reward practices, emerging pay and talent trends using public & proprietary sources.

  • Contribute to client relationship building through event planning support, day-to-day communication

  • Support in proposal development

  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions.

  • Collaborate with project team on most effective ways to structure analyses and present information to meet client objectives

What you need to have :

  • A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, math, accounting, or HR preferred, with about 2- 4 years of professional experience

  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to independently initiate & complete task, ability to manage competing priorities effectively

  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • An analytical mindset & confidence in interpreting data driven insights

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Intellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop new skills

  • Ability to work in teams and be flexible to work under tight deadlines and changing client needs

  • A commercial mindset and interest in client work
