About the team

Our team is part of the Risk Management department with a focus on evaluation projects of our clients' internal control environment, both in the field of IT and business processes. Our client portfolio includes companies such as large banks, insurance companies, IT companies, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies, as well as smaller startups. Within the company, we collaborate with teams across all our departments. Working with us is never boring, it will give you a lot and will be a great basis for working with us and elsewhere.

About your manager

Petra has been with PwC since 2015, when she started with us as a junior and today works as a manager in the Controls team. She leads internal audit projects, third-party assurance reporting (ISAE/SOC reports) and various consulting engagements in the field of internal controls. Although the job of a manager is sometimes demanding, you can meet her at disc golf, dance lessons, the theater/cinema and from time to time at Toastmasters.

Job description & summary

You will be working in teams performing independent assessments and internal controls of clients’ financial, operational and IT processes. Teams conduct engagements for clients in various areas:

  • Internal process and control assessments and reviews

  • Supporting third party access certification process (SOX, SOC, ISAE) based on SyS Trust principles

  • Operational controls (involving analyzing and solving critical business issues and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations)

  • Reviews of IT processes and controls, performing IT General Controls

  • Helping clients improving their internal processes and controls

  • Process visualization


Requirements of the role

  • University Degree

  • At least 2 years of experience from field of Technical Compliance / IT process review / Technical Audit / SOX / SSC or similar

  • English language (written and spoken) at a professional level, Czech and German language is a big advantage

  • Consultative nature, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and decision making skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and adapt in a dynamic environment
