Barbaricum is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Washington, DC with offices in Tampa, FL, and in Dayton, OH. Barbaricum is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer for the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA ARCHES) Program. The Senior Platform Engineer is a critical role within the NGA ARCHES Program, serving as a technical and functional advisor to the Government AI Model Manager supporting the oversight of overhead imagery computer vision model development, training, and deployment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product/Engagement and Platform Engineering divisions to facilitate the validation of customer requirements and incorporate feedback and requested features into the AI development process.
Assist with the development and management of overall program requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables with integrated teams, partners, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline.
Requires broad knowledge of AI model development processes, ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
