About The Team:
Postman is looking for a Sr. Event Manager who will take end to end ownership of Postman’s proprietary events, managing every aspect from concept through execution and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate will excel at leading cross-functional teams, managing agency partners & vendors, and delivering events that align with our company’s strategic objectives and brand values. In this role, you will also have supporting roles in additional Postman events, including third party industry trade shows. We are looking for someone who is team-centric to join our small, but mighty crew, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the work, but also have the confidence and acumen to nail executive-level engagements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish event objectives, KPIs, and success metrics in collaboration with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee all phases of event planning and execution, including strategic development, venue selection, logistics, scheduling, on-site management, and vendor management
- Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that all aspects of the event are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and integrate high-impact content.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to secure necessary services and products.
- Supervise all on-site activities to ensure smooth operations and immediate resolution of any issues.
- Ensure that the event runs according to the planned agenda and meets quality standards.
- Conduct a comprehensive post-event evaluation to assess the success of the event against established KPIs and gather feedback from attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving and decision-making.

This role is remote in the US, and the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $124,752 to $168,780, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend.
