We're looking for a Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy & Analytics to join our team based in Bangalore. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics, you will be responsible for:
- People Management: You will drive the day-to-day activities for a team of data analysts in our BLR office to support the marketing performance across all regions. This will be a center of excellence that we are building for Strategy & Analytics within Marketing
- Data Insights: Analyze data from various sources (e.g. spend data, customer profile and web/app browsing behavior) to produce metric packs and stories to inform marketing strategies.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to understand Zscaler’s data infrastructure and contribute to the creation of data pipelines, schemas, tables, and optimize data sources to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Track and own the build of regular metrics packs on lead management, campaign performance, pipeline attainment with hypotheses on areas of improvement.
- Dashboard excellence: Optimize existing Tableau dashboards (or create new ones based on business requirement) to track and monitor performance of marketing campaign strategies and extract actionable insights to ensure revenue growth.
What We Are Looking For (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree, plus 6-8 years in analytics, data analysis and/or consulting roles. Affinity for collaboration with business partners and working in a fast-paced environment.
- People Management experience and having led a technical team of data analysts with SQL, Tableau, SFDC experience. Must have experience managing high-performers and driving both the business agenda and their career trajectory. Strong balance of IQ and EQ as leader
- Expertise in aggregating, organizing and analyzing big data sets. Strong proficiency of SQL and experience with integration work between data warehouse platforms (Snowflake)
- Solid understanding of marketing technology platforms, and Data Governance as applied to Marketing, including Media Performance, Media Attribution, Web Analytics, Salesforce CRM, Marketing Automation tools, CDP, DMP, etc.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with several stakeholder teams - Global/Regional marketing, IT/Data Strategy, Sales, Finance, Channels.
- Working knowledge of Python, R and comparable statistical analysis tools & development and usage of in-house attribution (or 3rd party) models & experience in data science to help drive experimental designs, hypothesis testing.
- Experience with either 3rd party or in-house data pipeline tool to automate pulling marketing data from various platforms and APIs.
