The Senior Marketplace Manager leads all aspects of Pattern brand partner go-to-market strategies. If you are great at nurturing partner relationships, developing and executing business plans, supporting a team of ecommerce professionals, and increasing operational efficiencies, we want you to apply! These efforts extend across a variety of domestic marketplaces such as Walmart, Target, eBay, Macy’s, Kohls, TikTok Shop and other marketplaces in the Americas such as Amazon Canada, Amazon Mexico, Mercado Libre, Walmart Canada & Walmart Mexico.

This is a full time role that works a hybrid schedule (M/W/Th in-office each week) based in Lehi, Utah.

What is a day in the life of a Senior Marketplace Manager?

  • Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Pattern brand partners across various selling platforms. Examples of these marketplaces are: Walmart, Target, eBay, Macy’s, Kohls, and TikTok Shop as well as other marketplaces in the Americas such as Amazon Canada, Amazon Mexico and Mercado Libre, Walmart Canada & Walmart Mexico

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with brand partners and/or marketplace partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring alignment with their business objectives and growth goals

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as brand management, product, advertising, marketing, sales, operations, and finance to coordinate efforts and maximize marketplace opportunities

  • Analyze marketplace data and trends to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and expansion into new channels or regions

  • Develop and execute business plans tailored to each marketplace platform, leveraging insights and best practices to drive sales, increase visibility, and enhance brand presence

  • Drive operational efficiencies through process improvements, automation, and strategic resource allocation, ensuring smooth and scalable operations across all marketplace channels

What do I need to thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, or related roles

  • Proven track record of success in driving sales and growth on platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target, with extra preference given to Walmart (though any marketplace experience is a plus)

  • WMC (Walmart Connect) advertising and Amazon advertising expertise preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, able to translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations

  • Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, trends, and best practices, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the e-commerce landscape

  • High level of attention to detail and organization to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including business planning, partner relationship management, and performance optimization across multiple platforms and channels

What is the team like?

You will work with other Senior Marketplace Managers and be supervised by the Director of Marketplaces. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team and with the marketplace business units at Walmart (US, Canada, Mexico), Amazon (Canada, Mexico, Brazil) Target, eBay, Kohls, Macy’s, Mercado Libre and more. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
