Job Description

The Senior Planner at Spin Master is responsible for coordinating order delivery arrangements with production planners, issuing Stock Transfer Orders (STO) for the China market, and ensuring on-time order delivery. Key responsibilities include close collaboration with demand planning and sales teams to address forecast discrepancies and supply issues, managing product market rollout plans for China, monitoring inventory levels, resolving demand and supply issues, and ensuring system accuracy. The role requires frequent travel, strong data analytical skills, and excellent communication in English and Mandarin. The ideal candidate possesses a college degree, 5+ years of relevant experience in the toy industry or FMCG, and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred). This role involves proactive problem-solving, addressing potential OTD failures, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description:

General:
Coordinate with production planners about the order delivery relevant job arrangements.

What will you work on?

Issue Stock Transfer Order (STO) for China Market based on forecast.
Work closely with production planners to ensure orders delivered on time.
Communicate with Demand Planning team and Sales team for forecast discrepancies and supply issues.
Work closely with Logistic team to ensure orders shipped on time as per the requested delivery date
Manage the products Market Roll Out Plan for the China region
Monitor the inventory level in the Domestics China warehouse
Arrange monthly meeting with the Demand Planning team and Sales team to resolve demand and supply issues
Ensure system accuracy of production orders and planning parameters.
Ensure good service and relationship towards internal and external stakeholders customers.
Follow up all the supply issues of assigned products. If any potential or existing OTD failure happens, work with production planners and different internal teams closely to minimize the impact ASAP and figure out corrective actions.
Any other duties assigned by the superior.

Frequent travel is required. (not limited in China)

What are your skills and experience?
College degree or above.
5 years relevant work experience in Toys of Trading/ Buying Office or FMCG industry, supplier management experience is preferable.
Enthusiastic, motivated by new challenges, co-operative and excellent in working with multifunctional team.

Strong data analytical skill.
Excellent command of written and spoken English Chinese/Mandarin. Able to work independently with overseas customers and vendors.
Proficient in ERP system, SAP preferred. Be familiar with MS office, especially Excel.
