Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager at Google Search, you'll guide products from conception to launch, bridging technical and business aspects. You'll break down complex problems, collaborate with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams, and launch new features, testing and iterating quickly. Responsibilities include understanding markets, user requirements, and developing solutions across regions and product areas. You'll collaborate on cutting-edge technologies and deliver technical presentations to senior leadership. The role requires deep understanding of user needs and the ability to translate them into product specifications and strategies.
Must have:
  • 8+ years in product management or related technical role
  • 3+ years taking products from conception to launch
  • Cross-functional collaboration (engineering, UX/UI, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of markets and user requirements
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in technology or business
  • 5+ years in cross-functional roles
  • 5+ years in business functions (marketing, operations)
  • 4+ years experience delivering presentations to senior leadership
  • 3+ years in software development or engineering
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and experience/curiosity for incorporating inclusion and accessibility into product development methodologies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
