Project description

We've been developing trading software for our partner - a top-tier hedge fund - for over 10 years.
Now we are expanding QA forces in the team owning trading desktop applications.
You will work in close collaboration with traders, developers, engineers and whoever you find useful to improve the quality and delivery performance.

Responsibilities

Continuously improve manual and automation coverage

Continuously increase quality and transparency of internal processes

Actively propose solutions and approaches to improve quality and/or team performance

Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver software releases

Team Player with the ability to work with development, support and QA teams

Take full ownership of and maintain a robust QA environment, including test databases and system deployments

Work closely with the global QA team to design and build integration tests

Work with developers on improving system testability and creating a testing environment

Experience with Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery

Have the ability to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions

Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus a plus)

Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; Good sense of urgency, resourcefulness and independence

Skills

Must have

Must be willing to do both manual and automation tasks depending on project demands

5+ years of QA and 3+ years of automation

Understanding of Capital Markets in general. Familiarity with equities, derivatives, futures or FX trading

Proactiveness
