Luxoft seeks a Senior Scrum Master/Project Manager for a telecom test solution engineering team. The role involves serving a distributed team, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, refinements, reviews, planning, retrospectives), coaching team members in Agile principles, and proposing process improvements. Project management responsibilities include regular customer reporting. The ideal candidate possesses strong Agile experience, problem-solving skills, and experience with distributed teams. A background in networking or telecom is highly desirable. The role requires strong stakeholder management, technical understanding of the product, and excellent communication skills.

Project description

Applications are invited for the position of Scrum Master and Project Manager, working for the one of Luxoft clients as part of a telecom test solution engineering team.

The successful candidate will work as a key member of the telecom test solution Engineering team. We are contributing to a family of products that are used for functional, system integration, capacity and stress testing in the lab and emulate up 1000's of mobile devices, across multiple cells to set-up and test 4G and 5G Base Stations.

Responsibilities

The role will suit experienced Scrum Masters willing to help a distributed engineering team in its quest to work effectively and efficiently in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should truly believe in the Agile principles and be able to leverage them to allow the team deliver product improvements in an organized and practical fashion

As we foresee growth in this engagement in the near to mid-term, there will also be aspects of project management to deal with, especially with reporting to the customer on a regular basis.

Serve the Engineering Team through all aspects of SCRUM in their goal to deliver value to customers by meeting stakeholder expectations

Facilitate all SCRUM ceremonies e.g. Stand-Ups, Refinements, Reviews, Planning and Retrospectives

Coach team members to optimize their understanding and use of Agile and Agile principles and ensure they are followed

Propose and champion process improvements that are beneficial to the engineering team and/or other stakeholders

Be an effective problem solver to remove impediments and guide the team on how to remove impediments

Support and partner with the Product Owner, especially with respect to refinement and maintaining the product backlog

Ensure team members can highlight, discuss and address issues in a safe and trusting environment with an emphasis on collaboration and problem solving

Provide reports and KPI radiators to facilitate the understanding of the team's progress, areas of pain, delivery velocity and overall level of SCRUM maturity

Skills

Must have

BSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

At least 3 years of experience in a SCRUM Master role

Practical experience working with distributed SCRUM teams

3 years of Project or team leadership in a software development organization with strong stakeholder management skills

Ability to understand the technical implementation and architecture of the different components of our product

domain specific looking for either networking or telecom

Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and mentoring skills

Servant / leader mindset is critical

Experience of JIRA and Confluence

Nice to have

Agile SCRUM or SAFe related Certification is desirable

Project Management related Certification is desirable
